Minimum Wage: Rates and Implementation Date

At its May sitting, the States will be asked to approve 1 October 2010 as the implementation date for Guernsey's new minimum wage legislation.  The rates proposed are £6 per hour for workers aged 19 and over, and £4.25 per hour for young persons between 16 and 18.
