Client Training

We believe that it makes sense to share our knowledge with you. We provide a lot of free information through our Red Guides, Letters, Lines and Alerts. We believe that, if you like what you read there, you’ll come back to us for detailed advice. However, our services don’t end there. We also offer dedicated training programmes to help you understand the legal issues facing your business.

We customise and design training programmes to meet our clients’ specific requirements - some training might work best in small groups, some over breakfast or lunch, and some over a morning. We’ll work round your requirements. Training can be on general topics or on specific issues which arise regularly, for example training managers on disciplinary and grievance procedures, directors on their duties, trustees on how to avoid trust litigation or entrepreneurs on how to protect their ideas. We believe that training helps our clients operate more effectively and that’s the kind of result we like.

Training can also be prompted by changes to legislation or policy - we know our clients like to be kept up to date with the latest changes and developments. The ability to adapt to shifts in the legal and regulatory environment is key to economic success and, through our dedicated training, we can help clients achieve this aim.

Our wealth of knowledge and our reputation for delivering accessible, relevant and informative training means that AO Hall’s lawyers are regularly invited to speak at conferences and seminars, both on and off the Island.

Our expertise has helped us forge strong links with the GTA University Centre and the College of Further Education, as well as other professional bodies such as the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners and leading Chambers from the UK.

Our lawyers monitor developments in their specialist fields and are available to provide their clients with practical, up-to-the-minute advice on existing and prospective legislation and regulations.
